Forney 0-4-4 type

This little locomotive fascinates me, and might well be the prototype for my next 7 1/4" gauge model...

Made by SLM, Winterthur, Switzerland in 1886, it was used on the Finnish State RR in 1886-1932. There were altogether 6 of these in Finland, used for light local traffic, later only for switching work. The engine shown is preserved at the Finnish RR Museum in Hyvinge.

Thanks to the small size of the loco, a model of it could run on my tight track (radius 6m / 20 ft.).
